Presents 4 Pets

Presents 4 Pets is held each year in support of National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, which is the first full week in November.  The goal of Presents 4 Pets is to collect pet care items for donation to local animal shelters and rescue groups. Items needed include: dog and cat food and treats, pet toys, collars, leashes, blankets, grooming supplies, towels and cat litter.

At the end of each year's campaign, all pet care items collected are donated to local animal shelters and rescue groups.

A big 'thanks' to all who supported the 2012 Presents 4 Pets campaign here in Southern Connecticut!  Thanks to Paws and Kisses clients and pet-loving members of the local community, we collected over $ 2,500.00 worth of pet care items for donation to local animal shelters and rescue groups!

Over the past five years of the campaign, with the help of the local community and several dedicated volunteers, Paws and Kisses Pet Sitting has collected donations totalling over $ 23,000.00!  Donation recipients include the following shelters and groups:  the Ansonia, Derby, Naugatuck, Stratford, Shelton, Milford, West Haven, Bridgeport and New Haven Animal Shelters, Pups Without Partners, SARAH Handicapped Animal Rescue, the Stratford Cat Project, Feral Care, Bridgeport Avenue Cat Rescue, Three Bunnies Rabbit Rescue and more!

As we prepare for the 2013 campaign, the need has never been greater.  We hope to help even more shelters this year.  Please help us to help homeless animals in our community by collecting pet care items to donate to the 2013 Presents 4 Pets Campaign.
